John studied at the Art Institute of Seattle in the Visual Communications program, while there he was introduced to figurative expressionism and exploration of the use of colour to communicate meaning and value. With a visual communications degree, he has worked as a Graphic Designer while further defining his artistic style for over 20 years with various collectives and group shows throughout the Pacific Northwest.
